Back in 1996, at the dawn of the commercial Internet, ViewSource came in to being as one of Cincinnati’s first Web Design and Development companies. A lot of people ask about the name ViewSource. It stems from those early days when coders would right click on a web page and select the menu option “View Source” (as in to view the source code) to see how a site was coded.

At this stage of the Internet, sites were just plain HTML with a smattering of JavaScript thrown in. The internet and its capabilities have come a long way and ViewSource has been there for every step. Over the years ViewSource has worked on all manner of fun projects with local favorites like Graeters ice cream, major national brands like Lowes, Sears and Home Depot, as well as many charities and small businesses. We have worked on web sites, management tools, email campaigns, online marketing and over the last decade expanded into social marketing and mobile development.

One of our highest profile projects is the Home Depot Garage Door Configurator. Built by ViewSource for Clopay and the Home Depot it lets you select and view millions of garage door combinations on a picture of your own home (homedepot.com/garagedoors). You can even order the door and pay in store or online and have the door installed just about anywhere in the country.

In 2016 ViewSource was acquired by long-time customer Prograde and the ViewSource Group became Prograde’s technical and digital marketing arm. Combined with Prograde’s traditional marketing expertise, ViewSource Group continues to expand its horizons and capabilities.

We delight in delighting you, our customer, as we bring a rarely paralleled depth of technical and digital marketing knowledge and experience to your projects.
